Chaz came to us on the 21st December (early Christmas present) 2018, he was just under 7 months old, and came here to be placed in a pet home as previous owner decided he was pet only. I knew about someone looking for a pet afghan so I offered to take him in, then organise the new home for him. When TAHKIRA BLUE WIZARD (AI) bounded out of the Air cargo Crate, my heart skipped a beat, he just had that look at me factor, that was it I had to have him. Immediately I called his breeder Birgit Ferguson and asked her is she is happy for me to buy him. So grateful she gave me her go ahead to buy him from the previous owner! In his previous show home he had won a couple of baby in groups and minor in group under breed specialist. Since living here, he fit in famously with our afghans and cresties, they love each other. So after a break early 2019 he returned to the ring with me as his owner / handler and has already to his credit multiple group in class awards and a Puppy in Show under Hound Specialists and some extremely competitive Best of Breeds and Dog cc's and res cc's. Then Covid hit, another long break! pretty soon Chaz notched up a couple of Best in Group awards and his show career is taking a new chapter, we are very excited for him. As well as being a very handsome Afghan, he does move beautifully as do his litter brothers and sisters. Such a delight to live with and show, with an outstanding temperament. We are sure his show career will pick up where it left off.
Chaz was one of the Babies from the litter I always liked, so thrilled he is now with me, maybe it was meant to be.
